Our journey began with a promise
Gabriel's Promise Advocates was founded in honor of my son. I intimately understand the fear and frustration of challenging a school district on my own. My personal experience, navigating complex processes to secure appropriate accommodations for my child, ignited a passion to ensure other parents never face these battles alone. We are here to support you when the school district dismisses your concerns or refuses necessary support.
Empowering parents with confidence
Our main goal is to empower parents, helping them feel more confident and capable in advocating for their child's educational needs. We step in when families have exhausted all efforts to reason with the school district and find themselves at an impasse. I remember feeling scared and alone, wishing for someone to be in my corner. That is precisely the role we fill for you.
Navigating the system, making a difference
We help families navigate the special education system by leveraging years of hands-on experience advocating for my own son within his school district. This includes participation in Manifestation Determination meetings, mediation, Due Process hearings, and numerous Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Our deep understanding of these processes makes a real difference for the families we serve, ensuring their voices are heard and their children’s rights are protected.
